DAVE O'DANIEL is the head coach of the Dublin Community Swim Team. Before his three years there, he was the Head Age Group Coach for GCSTO. Dave is making his second trip to zones, the first coming in 1998 also to Minnesota. He also accompanied the Ohio contingent to the 2000 Quad meet in Indianapolis. Dave is looking forward to a great trip as he is taking three Dublin swimmers (so far), and wants Ohio to make a great showing after last year's victory.

Brad has been coaching for 20 years, starting as the Head Coach for his summer league team at age 15. He has coached on multiple teams ranging from summer league to an assistant coach for the Ohio State University Women's Team. He is currently coaching for Level 4 with New Albany where he is in his first year as head coach. Brad has trained swimmers to numerous AA and ZONE cuts along with a handful of National Junior qualifiers. Brad's swimming experience started with summer league, AAU Swimming (Now USA-Swimming....for those old ones out there that remember) and finally with the Ohio State University Men's Team. Brad's claim to fame is holding the World Record in the 50 free in 1982 for approximately one minute. Ask him about it!! This is Brad's second appearance as a coach for TEAM OHIO.

GEORGE LEATHERMAN - Ohio ZONE Team Coach

George swam for Findlay Area Swim Team under Rock Snow as an age group swimmer.  He was a 3-time state qualifier in high school.  After high school, George swam for the University of Kentucky, then the University of Findlay where he also wrote practices and played water polo.  Currently, George is a swim instructor for lifetime fitness of Columbus where he specializes in advanced stroke technique.

Carolyn Strunk is beginning her fourth year as the head coach of the Bowling Green Swim Club. Prior to joining the Gators in 1995, she was the BGSU men and women's assistant coach for three years. Carolyn began her swimming career in Pittsburgh, PA and completed it at the College of Wooster (where she also began her coaching career). This is her first trip
as a coach member of Team Ohio.

Brent has been coaching USA-Swimming for 11 years, 7 years with the Wright-Patterson Flying Fish (3 years Head Age Group) and the last 4 years with the Dayton Raiders. He has coached swimmers to Ohio records, National "Top 16" times, National Age Group Champions, National Junior qualifiers, and Central Zone record-holders. Brent has a lot of energy and enjoys coaching at all levels. Brent has also been the Head Coach at Fairborn High School since 1993 and was the Head Coach at Wayne Swim Club 1994-1999. Brent majored in Human Factors Engineering at Wright State University and is employed by Veridian Corporation at Wright-Patterson AFB. When Brent has time, he enjoys fishing on the east and west coasts, as well as in the Gulf of Mexico. In 1999, Brent was the Ohio Team Head Coach, helping Team OHIO win its first ever Central Zone team title.
