A few important notes:

IMPORTANT!  Equipment Pickup
Below are the pickup times and locations for you to pickup your equipment packages on Tuesday August 1^st .  If you cannot make it, have someone you know sign for it.   Be sure to pickup the equipment at the location nearest your swim club (Oxford swimmers go to Cincinnati).  Any packages not picked up will be checked as luggage on the plane – we prefer not to do this, but it is will be available as a last resort only!

• Cincinnati area – pick up your equipment at the Kastaway store anytime Tuesday 9AM-5PM
• Dayton area – DR/WTRC coaches will have your packages during Tuesday’s practice
• Columbus – pick up your equipment at Thomas-Worthington HS 6-8PM in front of pool, 6-8PM Tuesday
• Toledo – pick up your equipment at Toledo St. Francis HS in front of pool, 6-8PM Tuesday

Important TRAVEL TEAM flight information on Continental

Airline policy is that children 17 & Under do not need a photo ID.  However, our group agent from Continental strongly suggests that all travelers, regardless of age, have some kind of identification: even if it’s a school ID, library card, etc.  This would make things a little smoother if the airport has heightened security the day of our flight.

Team Ohio Meet will at the Oklahoma City Community College, next to the pool complex – 1PM , pictures 2:30PM, practice 3-4PM. 

Meet Social for all of TEAM OHIO: 7PM, location and details coming soon!

STRICT POLICY! No club shirts/logos
Swimmers are not permitted to bring/wear club shirts, caps, bags, or other gear.  Only “Team Ohio” and generic gear allowed.

Warmups each Day:
All TRAVEL TEAM  swimmers that are competing in fewer than three days of pool competition, they will be warming up during all preliminary warmup sessions each day.  Swimmers traveling with their parents are recommended to follow this format, as well.  Ask your home-club coach if you fall into a category where you should be warming up during both the preliminary sessions and finals session each day (twice), regardless of whether you make finals or not.

Extra caps/ shirts for parents

Thanks to the parents who reminded us that last year, we ran out of extra caps one hour into the 12-under session on the first day of competition. This year, the coaches and chaperones will have half of the caps for each session until they run out.  Extra TEAM OHIO caps are $4.  We also have approximately 30 extra shirts of each color for parents.  Prices will be announced when we receive the bill from the shirt company.

General Admission for non-swimmers:
Cost for General Admission is $12 per day
Package: $40 all session pass with meet program and all session heat sheets.
Cost for parking is $5.
