DIRECTIONS FROM ANN ARBOR (20 minutes): Travel north on U.S. 23 to Exit 50 (Six Mile Road), follow the brown Independence Lake signs. Go west to where Six Mile Road dead ends. Proceed left on Whitmore Lake Rd. Take the first right onto Kearney Rd. Follow Kearney Rd. to Jennings Rd. (first stop sign). Go left on Jennings Rd. for approximately one mile. Independence Lake County Park is on the right hand side.

10-unders - .5 mile
11-12's - 1 mile
13-14's - 1.5 miles
15-18's - 2.0 miles

Schedule of Events - all times except for Registration & Check-In are approximate

  • 8:00AM    Registration & Check-In

  • 8:30AM    Clinic for all Participants

  • 9:00AM    Warm-up*

  • 10:00AM   Competition Starts*

  • Awards immediately following the competition
    * Times may be adjusted if swimmers and Referee are ready to begin the race

To qualify, swimmer must have achieved a National "A" time in the longest freestyle event offered at the Age Group Championship meet (swimmer does not have to swim that event at the meet, just need to have the cut since summer 2004)
