Subject: Zone entries sent 9PM Monday

Ohio Zone Team,

Your entries have been processed and sent to Michigan a short while ago.  Hopefully, we have ironed out any last-minute edits, typos, changes, and corrections. As you might expect, the flurry of registrations coming in late Sunday at the AA meet was quite a tall task. Thank you to all swimmers & parents who e-mailed today with their “last call” of details.  Please take a moment to review your rosters & entries one final time – because what you see on the website is what was sent to Michigan.

Still have an error?  Don’t panic.  If you discover an error (for example, you are on the travel team, but your name is not on the travel team roster).  Do not worry, simply reply ASAP and we can get you placed in the correct category.   If you discover an Open Water entry mistake – no problem as we can fix that up until Sunday evening prior to Open Water (they even take late entries for Open Water! So bring your $20 fee if you still want in).  If you discover a pool entry mistake, we have small wiggle room during Thursday’s scratch meeting.  They are pretty strict about swapping out events, so I suggest you don’t even ask us about it.  Only inform us before Wednesday if your pool entry is a bonafide typo or mistake.

We will try to send out an e-mail or two before Thursday’s departure with key information about the weekend.  To get things started, here is an important FYI for TRAVEL TEAM swimmers only:

We have purchased a special linen package for you.  The U of M Housing Office expected us to bring our own sheets, towels, pillow cases, linens, etc.  So we negotiated a deal that includes all of the above for travel team swimmers.  HOWEVER, there in NO PILLOW included.  So, all swimmers traveling on the buses should bring their favorite pillow.

Thanks and please reply if you have any questions,
