Bio: George swam for Findlay Area Swim Team under Rock Snow as an age group swimmer.  He was a 3-time state qualifier in high school.  After high school, George swam for the University of Kentucky, then the University of Findlay where he also wrote practices and played water polo.  Currently, George has been coaching 3 years at New Albany, is a 5-year Red Cross WSI, and has worked stroke clinics with Olympic swimmers Amanda Adkins and Shaun Jordan.  George is also the senior coach for the Gahanna Swim Club.

Bio: I swam competitively within the Dayton area for 13 years and went on to swim for the University of Cincinnati for two years.  I have been coaching for the WTRC Sharks for the past 4 years, where I work primarily with swimmers ages 9-12 and assist with the senior group.  I graduated from Wright State University in December of 2001 with a degree in K-12 Health, Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education and Minors in both Biology and Management.  This upcoming school year will be my first year teaching 6th-8th grade Health and Physical Education at Springboro Junior High School.  I have also been hired on as the Head Coach for the Springboro High School Swim Team for 2002-2003.

Bio:  My name is Katie Scholl and I was a swimmer for 16 years for the Springfield YMCA and the Dayton Raiders. I participated at YMCA Nationals seven years and the High School State Championships two years. After high school, I swam four years on the Wright State University Women's Swim Team which won Conference titles my freshmen and senior years. I have been the Head Swim Coach at Springfield Country Club for the past eight summers. I have led the Sharks to 5 Springfield area swim league championships over the past eight years. While at Wright State I have also been an assistant coach for the Dayton Raiders the past three years, where I coach the Mini, White, Red. Blue, and Bronze groups.  Over the last three years, Raiders have had great success throughout the year and at championships. Kansas will be my first zone trip as a coach, however I traveled to Oklahoma, Arkansas, Indiana, and Michigan as a swimmer for a total of 8 ZONE trips during the 90's for the Ohio Team.  It is a great time!.  I am excited and honored to represent the Ohio ZONE Team in Kansas this year!!!

Bio: 
Todd Saltus, Ohio Age Group Coach of the Year in 2001, is in his fifth year with Upper Arlington Swim Club, four of them as Head Coach. He also is currently in his third year as Head Coach of the Upper Arlington High School Men's Water Polo team, 2000 State of Ohio Champions.  In the past, Todd has served as an assistant swimming coach at Swim and Racquet Club, UA High School, and DePauw University.  Todd is a 1991 graduate of UA High School, where he served as captain of the swimming and water polo teams and earned All-America honors.  Todd received his BA in Communications from DePauw University in 1995.  In addition to the experience listed above, Todd's coaching contributions have resulted in improved team standing at AA's each season since taking over head coaching position, resulting in finishing third at 2002 Spring Championships.  2002 team highlights included Male Swimmer of the Meet and 10-under girls team high point award.  Named 2000-2001 Ohio swimming Coach of the Year.

Bio: Jason Roberts has been coaching for the Northern Ky Clippers for three years. In the three years the team size has nearly doubled.  In 2000 at Double A's Jason was voted Ohio Age Group Coach of the year, much to his surprise. In the three years that Jason has been coaching for the Clippers, he has coached numerous swimmers to top 16 qualifications and rankings. Jason is currently a student at Northern Kentucky University working on a degree in History. His claim to fame when he was growing up was when he was 11 years old he fell off the high diving board at the local YMCA and landed on the pool deck. In the fall he broke my back and have always been noted as the guy who closed the board forever; since he fell off the board and it has never reopened.

Bio:  Brent has been coaching USA-Swimming for 13 years, 7 years with the Wright-Patterson Flying Fish (3 years Head Age Group) and the last 6 years with the Dayton Raiders (3 years Head Age Group). Brent was also the Head Coach at Fairborn High School 1991-2001 and was the Head Coach at Wayne Swim Club 1994-1999. Brent was voted Ohio Age Group Coach of the Year in 1999. He has coached several swimmers to Ohio records, National "Top 16" times, National Age Group Champions, National Junior qualifiers, and Central Zone record-holders. Brent has a lot of energy and enjoys coaching at all levels.  Brent graduated with a B.S. in Human Factors Engineering at Wright State University and is employed by Veridian Engineering at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.  In 1999, Brent was the Ohio Team Head Coach, helping Team OHIO win its first ever Central Zone Championship team title. When Brent has time, he enjoys fishing on the east and west coasts, as well as in the Gulf of Mexico.  Brent was married to his lovely wife, Ann, in 2000 and lives in Beavercreek, Ohio.
