Volunteer Information

The Dayton Raiders use a volunteer "point" system to help manage the operation of the club.  With the varying types of jobs needed to effectively manage a successful program, the team has established several positions that earn "points" throughout the year. Additional volunteer and creative ideas should be forwarded to the Family Volunteer Coordinator for review.

The family volunteer point requirement is based on the most advanced swimmer in each family:
(Volunteer Point Totals being evaluated based on membership totals - coming soon!)
500 points per family if oldest child is in groups Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold
350 points per family if oldest child is a high school swimmer
300 points per family if oldest child is in groups Mini, White, Red
150 points per session swimmer (Mini, White, Red only)

Notes regarding Raider home meets: Families are required to work at least three home meet sessions if their child is swimming in the home meet.  There will be a $75 charge, per session, to the family if this requirement is not met.

Notes regarding volunteer positions: Any position with a point value of 250 to 350, with the exception of Board Member and Long Term Planning Committee, may be co-chaired with another individual for ½ the points.  Contact Family Volunteer Coordinator Anissa Kanzari at 937-252-5098 or akanzari@woh.rr.com to signup and/or review job descriptions.

FINAL NOTE: In the event that all home meet worker position or volunteer positions are filled and you have not yet met your family's required points, contact the Volunteer Points Coordinator listed above for alternate point earning opportunities.
