Black Oak Swim Club, a neighborhood, non-profit organization providing a safe, healthy and enjoyable environment for swimming, tennis and other summer recreational activities for its members and their guests is seeking applicant’s for Head Swim Coach .
If you meet the following qualifications and are interested in working outdoors this summer in a fun environment and with an enthusiastic group of people, submit your resume to the address listed below.
Ø Preferred: CPR/First Aid (Red Cross or American Heart Assoc.) certifications
Ø Attention to detail – and have been on a swim team previously.
Ø Understand line-up procedures and computer software.
Ø Communication skills
Ø Ability to work under pressure and work with all age groups.
Ø Compassion
Ø Patience especially with younger children
Our season begins with after school practice in May 30 and concludes with a team banquet on July 13. With 6 dual meets and a championship we have one of the shortest seasons in this area. The entire schedule is here:

Responsibilities are as follows:
Ø Understand and consistently enforce all BOSC rules and regulations
Ø Observe and monitor member and guest behavior and adherence to BOSC policies
Ø Ensure the health and safety of all persons using the facility
Ø Handle member and guest inquiries in a friendly and courteous manner (refer members and guests to pool management when inquiries not answered satisfactorily or when you are unsure of the appropriate response)
Ø The head coach is responsible for the complete line-up and managing the team at all meets. Assistant coaches assist in the line-up and participate in the management of all meets
