Wayne Swim Team is seeking applicants for the positions of Head Swim Coach and Assistant Swim Coaches (2). The Wayne Wahoos Swim Team is a summer swim team with 80+ members. We compete in the 9-team Miami Valley Swim Association (MVSA). Our heated pool, Wayne Swim Club, is located in Huber Heights, OH. We are looking for qualified Swim Coaches to develop our swimmers.
We are looking for coaches with:
- Experience as a coach and/or swimmer
- Good Communications and problem solving skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work with ages 6-18 swimmers
- First Aid, CPR, Lifeguard Certified a plus
Duties:
1 Head Coach
- Day to Day organizing and running of swim practices M-F
- Teaching of strokes, turns and starts to beginning swimmers
- Attend all swim team functions throughout season
- Work with Parents Board
- Guide Assistant coaches during season

Seed all swim meets
2 Assistant Coaches
- Assist Head Coach in day to day running of swim practices
- Teaching of strokes, turns and starts to beginning swimmers
- Attend all swim team functions throughout season
- Work with Parents Board
- Aid Head Coach in seeding of all meets.

Suit Fitting, Coaches Introduction, and Parents Meeting: Sunday, June 1st
Practice Begins: Monday, June 9th
Practice Schedule: 11-overs 7:30-9AM, 10-unders 9-10AM, Mon-Fri
League Championships: Saturday, July 26 Wittenberg University
Team Banquet: Sunday, August 3rd
