Favorite Food: Almost anything...especially cake and ice cream! Favorite Movies: Legally Blonde, McClintock, Finding Nemo, Animal House, Spaceballs Favorite Quote: "A man can be as great as he wants to be. If you believe in yourself and have the courage, the determination, the dedication, the competitive drive and if you are willing to sacrifice the little things in life and pay the price for the things that are worthwhile, it can be done." by Vince Lombardi First Song I would listen to on my iPod: "Tearin' Up My Heart" by NSYNC Best Part About the Raiders: You always have someone there that's going to cheer for you during the races. The coaches really care about how we do, and they always want what’s best for us. The people on the team become like family! Tip for the Younger Raiders: Don't take your swimming too seriously all the time. Have fun with it. Get involved in other sports. You might find out that you need a break from the pool every once in a while. Keep your head up, even if you feel like you just swam the worst race of your life or had a bad practice. It happens to the best of us sometimes. Just keep working hard and listen to what the coaches tell you. You may not think they're right about something, but I can guarantee that they know what they're talking about. And morning practice isn't as bad as you might think it is...it's just getting up that early that's hard! |
