Amanda (Mandy) Laneve Year joined raiders: 2003 High School: Centerville Swimming competitively since: the age of 4 years old College: Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green (OH) College major: Communication & Fashion Design Favorite events: the 50 free and 100 butterfly Top yard times: 50 free (24.86), 100 fly (1:02) Top Meter Times: n/a High school highlights: there is so many I just cant pick one! I have been lucky to have had many amazing experiences during my years at Centerville High school swimming highlights: Attending the state meet last year as a JR, swimming in the 200 free relay and placing 2nd. Also being apart of the first Centerville girls state team to win the state meet. Free time: I love shopping and hanging out with my friends, watching movies and having fun! Favorite food: pizza Favorite movie: clueless Favorite color: pink Best part about raiders: I have swam for another team before and I feel that I have improved so much since I joined the team. we work on a lot of stroke and technique and that's what I need. I also love all of the girls and I have made so many new friends. Tips for younger swimmers: I know what its like to feel discouraged and sometimes want to give up, just keep working hard, it will all pay off in the end. I promise! |
