LAS VEGAS - Samantha Wright from Dayton, Ohio has signed a national letter of intent to join the UNLV swimming team in 2002.

"We are very excited to have Samantha join the Rebel swim team," said UNLV head coach Jim Reitz. "She has the skills and experience to make an immediate impact on the team."

Wright, currently finishing her senior year at Dayton Christian High School, also swims for the Dayton Raiders Club Team. She is the Ohio Central Zone record holder in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. She will swim breaststroke and IM for the Rebels and can also swim distance free events.
