2005-2006 Dayton Raiders Practice Schedule (Short Course) updated 2/24/05

IMPORTANT:  All changes to the practice schedule due to college functions, swim meets, holidays, etc. are listed in the monthly calendar. Please go to Monthly Calendar and look at the monthly calendar or contact your group coach for any practice changes.

NOTES:
1. Dryland times listed in italic
2. Times listed are actual practice times. All swimmers should be at practice  15 minutes prior to the start time with appropriate equipment. Dryland equipment includes t-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes.  No sandals or flip-flops, please.

WSU - WRIGHT STATE UNIVERSITY POOL: From I-675 traveling North: take N.Fairfield Rd. Exit, turn left (west), then go over freeway and turn left on Col. Glenn (south), go 1 mile, turn rt. on University Blvd., then right on Service Rd, park in Visitors lot on left or in free parking section on the right (after 4PM), enter Student Union, walk straight towards the Campus Bookstore, go downstairs to pool.

Trotw - TROTWOOD-MADISON NATATORIUM.  From 35/I75 interchange: travel west on 35 for 8 miles (35 turns into 49 north)m turn left at Free Pike exit, go 2 miles, turn right on Union (which is Broadway south of this intersection), the school is on your right about 500 yards, the pool is the farthest building in back near the football stadium, a loop road surrounds the school so you can take either entrance into the campus.

LOH - BELMONT POOL AT THE LOHREY CENTER: From I-675 traveling south from the north: I-675 South to US-35 West towards downtown Dayton. Turn left (south) onto S. Smithville Road. After 1 mile, turn left onto Highridge Ave, take a quick left onto Glenarm Ave. Park in main lot, enter main doors, the Belmont Pool is inside the Lohrey Center. (the Lohrey Center can be seen from S. Smithville Road

B&GE - DAYTON BOYS & GIRLS CLUB EAST: From Dayton traveling east on US-35: take the Keowee Exit, the Club is immediately on the left. From I-675 traveling west on US-35: take the Keowee Exit until the exit dead-ends, turn left, get in right lane and after you go under the overpass, turn right into the Boys & Girls Club parking lot.

B&GW - DAYTON BOYS & GIRLS CLUB WEST From Dayton traveling west on SR35:  just past the I-75 & US-35 interchange, take the James H. McGee exit, turn left onto James H. McGee, turn right on McCall, turn left on Randolph, Randolph becomes Stewart Street, the B&G Club is on the right at 1828 West Stewart Street

FS - FIVE SEASONS from I-675 traveling south from 3SR35: take the Wilmington Pike Exit, turn right at exit, turn right on Feedwire Road (this is Whipp towards the left), turn right on Possum Run Road, turn right into Five Seasons entrance.  The pool is downstairs after you enter the main doors.

MOR - MORAINE NATATORIUM POOL (under renovation, no practices scheduled at this facility until further notice): From I-75 South just south of Dayton: take Dryden Rd. Exit, turn right at exit (south), continue for 1-2 miles to Sellars Rd. Turn right and go over bridge for 3/4 mile, turn right into the "Moraine Splash" entrance. The pool is located inside the main building.

GV – Greene Valley Swim Club in Beavercreek (from WSU): South on N.Fairfield towards Fairfield Commons Mall, turn left on New Germany Trebein, go about ½ mile, right on North Emerald, left on Lacresta, dead end at pool.

FBN - FAIRBORN 50-METER POOL (long course practices during the summer months only): From Dayton on I-675 North: take the Dayton-Yellowsprings Rd Exit., turn left at exit, Fairborn High School is on the right, once you pass the high school, turn right into park entrance, make your way to the pool which is on your right.
