4. Family Fundraising Fee

The Dayton Raider Swim Club depends on fundraising dollars to meet its annual operating budget as training fees and registration fees do not fully fund expenses.  Each family has the option of participating in the many fundraising activities or paying the $500 fundraising($170 for session families). Fundraising is assessed per family (not per athlete).  All fundraising revenue earned is credited at 100% to the fundraising fee.  Once the assessment has been met, all additional fundraising revenue will be credited at 50% toward other fees on the monthly statement.  Any unmet portion of the fundraising fee will be charged to the August bill or at the end of a session for session swimmers. The Dayton Raiders Swim Club has one of the easiest and most comprehensive Fundraising schedules in the country.

5. Family Volunteer Point Requirement

The Dayton Raider Swim Club depends on its volunteers to run meets, fundraisers, social events and hold chair positions to keep the team functional.  The family volunteer point requirement is based on the most advanced swimmer:  500 points per family (not per athlete) if oldest child is in groups Blue – Gold, 350 point per family if oldest child is a high school swimmer, 300 points per family if oldest child is in groups Mini – Red, 150 points per session swimmer.  Any portion of the points not earned will be billed $1 per point on the August bill or at the end of a session for session swimmers.
