Timers needed from the Raider team:

Saturday morning prelims – 2 needed (report to the main office on deck at 8:30AM)

Parking

Parking for '07 State Meet is in lots #1 and #12. Building #105 is the Student Rec Center.

Time Trials

Time trials are held on Friday and Saturday immediately following prelims.  Swimmers that have no events, or maybe just one race or relay, should consider time trialing a race – contact your group coach for suggestions.  The prelim sessions will not be very long (since they are using 10 lanes for prelims), so consider this option to better your time in another race that you may not be swimming in this weekend.

Not swimming at a particular session?

Swimmers need to be warmed up each day – so if you do not have a race on Friday you still need to warmup during prelims.   Some swimmers may need to warmup at prelims and finals – so if you are not in finals on day #1 – your coach may advise you to warmup that night during the finals warmup at 4:15PM – ask your coach if you have any questions.

Warmdown Pool

The warmdown pool (far end) will be available for warmup/warmdown when the meet is taking place.  Coaches require that all swimmers warmdown after each race – coaches provide guidelines to the swimmers, but they don’t have time to monitor the warmdown pool.  Parents – please remind your athlete to warmdown after events.

Finals
The top 16 swimmers in each individual event return at night for finals.  Scratches from prelims to finals not permitted.

** All relays on Friday and Saturday that are seeded in the top 8 swim at finals (not prelims).  All relays seeded 9th and slower swim during prelims.

** All relays on Sunday are swum in the morning during prelims

**  The 500 Free and 400 IM are timed final events – that means the event is only swum once and the fastest 16 seeded swimmers swim at finals

** The 1650 Free is a timed final event and the fastest 8 seeded swimmers swim at finals
