Meet: 34th Annual GTAC Turkey Meet

The Student Recreation Center (SRC) would like to welcome you!  We would like to inform you of few facility rules and general housekeeping issues. Teams have exclusive use of the main pool and dive tank during swim meets  .Please find listed below information that will help make your visit here a pleasant one.

PARKING:

·         Parking is permitted in lot 18 behind SRC and Lot 9 across from Rec Center next to Glass Bowl Stadium

·         Meters are monitored 24 hrs a day.  If you park at a meter you need to pay even on weekends.  Violators will be ticketed and possibly towed.

·         Parking tickets are $134.50 and will not be turned over for any reason

SPECTATORS:

·         Spectators are not allowed on the pool deck (USA Swimming regulation). 

·         The pool overlook is the area designated for spectators.  Restrooms and water fountains are located in this area.

·         Vending machines are located in the main lobby

·         Food is only allowed in the lobby area, pool overlook, and concession area (Oak Room).  Athletes will not be allowed to take food or drink into the facility (only water).

LOCKER ROOMS:

·         Teams must bring their own locks to secure items in the locker - $.25 (twenty five cents) per use

·         The SRC is not responsible for lost or stolen items.  DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS UNLOCKED!

·         Please only bring a small bag about the size of a laptop computer bag (for deck shoes, goggles, swimsuit, towel etc) the lockers are small and will not accommodate a large bag.

DECK RULES:

·         NO food, gum, glass, tobacco products or drinks other than water allowed on deck.

·         Coaches may have soft drinks or coffee in non-breakable containers.

·         Only coaches may wear soft-soled shoes (no boots or dress shoes) on the deck.  All others may not wear street shoes of any kind on the pool deck.

·         No items should be placed on the vents by windows

·         Bags are not allowed on the pool deck.  Items are to be secured in locked lockers in locker room

ID’S/BADGES

• All coaches, volunteers, and officials will to need show ID to gain access to the deck area.

GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING:

·         Crew Chiefs wear yellow shirts and will be your contact person in event of an emergency.  They are in charge of the pool.

·         Radios, tape and CD players are permitted but restricted to personal use

CELL PHONES ARE ONLY PERMITED IN THE ENTRANCE LOBBY
