Meet: Ohio Swimming Regional Championships (Summer Long Course)
Dates: July 11-13, 2008

Recommended For: Optional for all 14-unders in events that you do not have 2008 long course JO cut or 2009 short course JO cut. You can review the Raider Top Times reports to see if you have cuts for either sc yards or lc meters.
Maximum Number of Events Per Day: Max 3 individual per day, 7 for the weekend (excluding relays)
Directions: I-75 North to Bowling Green (OH), take exit 64 left (west).  Travel a short distance, you will see the college campus off to your right.  Turn right on Mercer, left on Ridge, follow to Recreation Center dropoff/parking area.
Meet Format:  Only 50 meter (L), 25 Meter (S), or 25 yard (Y) times achieved since January 1, 2007 will be accepted. All Entries must be slower than the 2008 long course JO cut or 2009 short course JO cut.  Any swimmer listed in the Top Heat of the 10-Un 200 Free, 11-12 400 Free, and 13-14 1500 Freestyle and wants to swim in prelims instead of finals must declare their intent no later than 15 minutes after the start of prelims.  There shall be No Deck Entries at the Championship Meet. All individual events are prelim/finals with the top 16 swimmers finishing in the preliminary heats qualify for finals each evening.  Relays are only swum once - the top 2 heats (16) seeded relays will swim at night and all relays seeded 17th or lower will swim during the preliminary sessions. Any swimmer qualifying for a consolation or championship final in an individual event who fails to compete in said final shall be barred from his/her next individual event. Any swimmer who qualifies for the Ohio JO Championships to be held on the following weekend at Miami University may enter that meet through our Raider entry chair.
Entry Fee: $5 per individual event, $10 ($2.50 each athlete) for relays, plus $2.00 Ohio Swimming surcharge for each athlete
Time Trials: Held after prelims each afternoon - only if you have not competed in the maximum number of 3 events per day
Awards: Individual: Medals 1-8th, Custom Ribbons 8-16th, Relays: Medals 1-3rd, Custom Ribbons 4-8th
