Get Started Now! Order online using the instructions above, print your order form and return to one of the SCRIP Coordinators or to your group contact . You can order before the deadlines, which typically occur every 2 or 3 weeks and are listed on the monthly calendar.

What is SCRIP?
This is one of the easiest and most powerful programs ever. We are all familiar with “gift cards” that have become popular around the holidays (those plastic gift cards that nearly every store has available and loaded with any denomination). This fundraising program works while you shop. SCRIP simply means “substitute money”. You purchase these certificates / cards from national and local retailers. Here is the best part – a percentage of your card electronically gets applied to your Raider account! Percentages range from 2-25% (average 10%) depending on the vendor (note – veteran swim parents claim the hotel chains have the best deals: most of them return 10-20% of your stay right back to your Raider account regardless of the hotel rate you pay - AAA, military rate, senior, etc.). Once your family’s fundraising assessment has been met, you receive credits on your bill for the remainder of the year. Check out the list of retailers by logging into SCRIP and using your Raider account.
What retailers can I purchase gift certificates for?
Hundreds! The question becomes: what retailers can you not purchase cards for? Many popular retailers participate in the SCRIP Program including Lowe’s, Speedway, major chain hotels, JCPenney, The Gap, Shell, Kohl’s, Pizza Hut, Red Lobster, Old Navy, Bath & Body Works, and hundreds of others. How do I get my cards / certificates?
Order online by following the instructions on this website. You can get many "on-hand" orders from SCRIP Coordinators at practice for the most popular vendors. Turn around time is about one week from the order deadline.
Opportunity
The beauty of SCRIP is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work. You earn money against your assessments (fees) and earn money for the swim team without spending a single additional penny. Just spend your regular shopping dollars with SCRIP at the stores that participate in the program. You pre-purchase your gift certificates each month and then use them when making purchases at the selected retailers.
Family Benefit
You will receive 100% of your SCRIP earnings applied to your fundraising assessment. Once your fundraising assessment is paid, you share 50/50 with the team and your 50% comes directly off your monthly bill! Each retailer has a different percentage that they will give, so look for the ones that benefit you the most.
Gift Cards On-Hand
The Raiders carry many of your favorite retailer gift cards on-hand. SCRIP Coordinators will be at many practices each week selling these cards. Bring your checkbook to practice with you or stop by at these locations to purchase cards and take them with you that day.
Payment
Please make all checks payable to the Dayton Raiders. No order will be processed without payment.
Deadlines
After you setup your Raider account at SCRIP, place your order at www.shopwithscrip.com, print off your order form and turn it in along with payment to the Raider SCRIP Coordinators or your group contacts by the monthly deadline listed on the Monthly Calendar.
Monthly Specials
Each month, SCRIP has tremendous specials that increase % back to you, often times doubling the % for particular vendors. Our Raider favorite is when Speedway gas throws out a special 7% instead of their normal 3 or 4% - which is helpful when we need to get the kids back and forth to soccer and swim practice. How long are the gift certificates good for?
Each retailer has different restrictions and expiration dates, may cards / certificates are the same as those your purchase at the store. Please review the list of retailers to see what restrictions might apply to those you wish to purchase gift certificates from. Most retailers do not allow you to apply gift certificates to credit cards for payment; however, JC Penney does allow you to do just that. Again, please refer to the retailer list on the SCRIP website.
