Meijer Community Rewards offering "Bonus Rewards" (November 2003) From November 1st - November 30, 2003 Meijer is offering a Bonus Rate. Each earning category is increase by an additional .5%. > $100-399 1.5% > $400-799 3.0% > $800-plus 4.5% This is a one month increase. Take advantage of it and earn that extra money for you and the team. Do some of that "extra" shopping now. If you haven't yet filed out the application for your Meijer Community Reward Card do so right away. You may sign up on line an www.meijer.com/rewards  or mail in your application. • How do you sign up? - You simply fill out the application you received, or go to www.meijer.com/rewards and apply on line.  Click on the banner above and it will take you directly to the Meijer site.  Make sure you reference our organization number on all applications. (361260).

• How much does it cost to sign up? - Nothing!  There is no cost to you, family or friends.  You don’t have to pre-purchase gift certificates!
• Family Benefit? - You will receive 50% of your Meijer earnings applied to your fundraising assessment or against your bill each month.
• How does it work?  You scan your card at the beginning of every purchase.  Meijer will keep track of your purchases each month and send the organization a check for the percentage you earn based upon these purchases.  Dayton Raiders receives a report from Meijer each month with the earnings broken down by families.  Applying on line allows you to keep track of your own earnings each month. You start earning once yours, family and friends total monthly purchases reach $200.
  

Meijer Monthly Purchases Earnings - effective March 1, 2003

·        What purchases can I receive credit on? - You receive credit for almost all Meijer purchases – groceries, toys, home fashions, jewelry, etc.  Purchases that do not qualify at this time are layaways, gas, prescriptions, postage and on-line purchases.

• Can I get additional cards for friends and family members? -  With your application you receive 2 key chain and one credit card size Community Reward Card.  Once your receive your card you may have friends, neighbors, friends fill out an application or apply on-line for their own card.  All they need to do is select the Friends and Family Linking and enter your card number.  You will then start receiving credit on their purchases also.
• What locations can I use the card? - Current participating Meijer stores are:  OHIO – Defiance, Lima, Findlay, Troy, Dayton, Fairborn, Springfield, Middletown, Fairfield, Hamilton & Cincinnati.  KENTUCKY – Lexington, Cold Spring, & Florence.  These are the locations that will accept the cards at this time.  Meijer is looking at expanding this program.

·        Deadline to sign up? - There is no deadline.  You may sign up at any time.  The earlier you sign up the earlier you start receiving your earnings.  We have families who have already started taking advantage of this opportunity.
