1.    VOLUME GOES DOWN ~~ SPEED GOES UP

 

2.    REST GOES UP ~~ PERFECT SWIMMING GOES UP

 

3.    FEEL “SUPER FAST” ALL WEEK.

 

4.    SHAVE DOWN AS CLOSE TO THE DAY OF COMPETITION AS POSSIBLE (You are not permitted to shave at most pools)
 

5.    EAT RIGHT ALL WEEK.  NO JUNK FOOD OR SODA-POP!

 

6.    IF POSSIBLE, GET TO BED AT THE SAME TIME EACH NIGHT.

 

7.    IF POSSIBLE, WAKE UP AT THE SAME TIME EACH MORNING.

 

8.    IMPORTANT – SET GOALS NOWBEFORE YOU GET TO THE MEET.

 

9.    GET EXCITED!  THIS IS THE BIGGEST MEET SO FAR!

 

10.  HAVE FUN AT PRACTICE!!  SWIMMING IS FUN!!
